IFERGAN IN HAMBURG: AVANT-PREMIERE AND EXHIBITION

From 18th to 27th October, 2019 the COSMO Art & Science Foundation presents the movie Seven Angels as part of an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by French artist Erick Ifergan at Barlach Halle K in Hamburg.

Ifergan is a multimedia artist, film-maker, photographer, painter, sculptor, poet and writer. He he divides his time between the USA and the south of France, where he set up his studio. Ifergan started his career in the 1980s as a photographer and internationally acclaimed music video director. He followed this in the 1990s with a series of award-winning commercials. In 2006 Ifergan wrote, produced and directed the cult independent film Johnny 316 starring Vincent Gallo. Since then he decided to focus on his career as an artist and develop his personal vision, presenting art installations in galleries and museums.

Ifergan

Erick Ifergan’s ambition is to create a multimedia experience that will take the spectator to a different emotional level, with a show juxtaposing paintings, moving images, sound, ceramics and sculptures in one space. This idea has become a reality in Hamburg, thanks to the COSMO Art & Science Foundation
